Are Ipods taking Over the World !

Everywhere you go these days everyone is listening to an ipod so that leads to the question why does everyone want one? With every new generation of ipod theres always somthing new and improved like for example the ipod touch it has features such as :touchscreen, internet access, youtube connection, widescreen video, and a slick new look but does anyone really need all those things in one little machine? No but I am as gulity as anyone I started out with a original ipod nano the i decided to upgrade to the ipod video then i decided that wasnt good enough so i went all the way to the states and bought the ipod touch which wasnt even relesaed in canada yet then i had to wait till i went to flordia before i got a case for because they hadnt released any yet . now with being so obsessive about ipods like me and millions of other people are its not as crazy as most people think in one day i will have to charge my ipod twice because i listen to my music when im out places or doing certainthings or trying to tune out a certain annoying brother but that just shows that 14 hours of my day i have my music playing which is pretty crazy. other studies have shown people will go to the extent of stealing on ipod if its just sitting there out in the open or even if it is in a backpack ,locker ,purse anywhere where they can reach it without being noticed.now if an ipod gets stolen and its already regiestered the people at apple and actually trace it and find out whos got but just because you no doesnt mean the police are gonna help you. its almost like they refuse to do anything abot the issue except give you warning on how to get them not stolen.

Hip-Hop and Rap Whats The Big Deal?

Hip-hop and rap today is all about killing, girls, money,or drugs which really can get annoying because not everyone wants to hear that sure sometimes its cool but when it gets to dirty and sexism its not something always want to hear. This whole issue of being a real man means nothing just because they sing about something different that can make a different does not make them "weak" or more often used a "Gay' it just means that they are people with a cause and aren't afraid to do what they have too. In one aspect Russel Simmons has a point but if people would stop living by the lyrics of these songs then there wouldn't be and thing to make songs out of now would there
If enough people stand against this music then it will change but if people keep buying Cd's and downloading (the proper way)their music then there will be no reason to keep making the offencive music and as must as it might not seem like it alot of rap music is very racist towards white people in most the lyrics half the time its a tiny comment but it is still there and is sometimes really hurtful.

Barbie or Fulla You Choose

The doll Fulla was created by a company called Newboy because parents didn't want their children playing with Barbie because of the way she dressed but mothers love the fact the Fulla is closer to the Arab culture. it is also good for the girls to have a Doll to relate too. People want this doll especially Arab parents for their children commenting on how the like the way she is dressed. Unlike Barbie they like the values that Fulla has. The parents really like the way she doesn't wear exposing clothes like Barbie. since they released the doll it has sold 1.5 million since November, 20003 and the price of the doll is equal to $16 U.S. The Fulla doll has done so well they even have Fulla girl clothing, a Fulla Cd player and a pink Fulla bicycle not only is there accessories for her but she even has her own cereal.
In my personal opinion I think its good for a respectable doll to be out there I mean Barbie was great and everyone loved her and still kinda does but seriously each culture should have a realistic doll. The whole giving her a prayer rug is genius because little girls will see that and think she does it so it must be cool.

Harajuku Girls The New Chihuahua?

Has Gwen Stefani gone to far to be different? not really because its not like there slaves or anything they get paid and get to tour the world and I'm sure if they really wanted out of it bad enough they could get out but it is really know different then a pop stars backup dancers touring with them. Gwen may be taken the whole harajuku part a bit to far because unless you do research nobody can really know what it is or where the term even came from. is she using the girls to make money of course she is who doesn't do something like that these days. in most of or all of her songs on her CD L.A.M.B she is always saying something about her fans in japan or something about japan maybe she just has a strong obsession with that culture its no different from someone liking video games or shoes. she has probably even gained more fans in north America because people see her with these girls and it starts an interest in all of a sudden people start to think who are they? where did they came from? why do they follow Gwen Stafani around? These days it only takes one person to be interested in somthing and it becomes a new trend but on the other hand thepeople who against it have a point to because depending on where you come from it could send the wrong message and have the negative effect that it got . so really this issue has two sides on one side gwen has to make a career for her self and stand out of the crowd but the other side is like well is she doing all the wrong things to be different?

Real or Fake?

Photo manipulation has a huge negative effect on women because if they a picture of a "perfect Women" their gonna wanna look like that person but most times its just impossible and people cant look past that which doesn't help them because their so convinced.computer retouching really has gone to far.in the case of O.J. Simpson's picture on time magazine what the did was trying to say is he "evil"type of person who was wrongly judged. the manipulation was neither racist or insensitive because it could be taken so many different ways that everyone doesn't even see it as those.it is really no different from the Martha Stewart picture or Katie Couric the changed the way they look and it wasn't labeled as insensitive or anything else not that it was passed by with out notice but it wasn't as big of an issue and the other pictures but it really was a big deal. when it comes to the pictures of places is a big deal because people will look at the and get the wrong idea especially the pictures from the war people are so paranoid about that these days its just not a good idea to give them the manipulated images. the picture of the shark trying to bite at the helicopter probably isn't a picture to worry about because people could easily put all the factor of the picture together and figure out it was fake and also there and so many pictures like that floating around out there for example the picture of the huge house cat that obviously could never happen.

Britney Spears Done For Good?

The whole Britney Spears VMA comeback performace wasn't as good as we all had hoped but what she looked like should not have mattered. Yeah we can all agree the her outfit choice wasn't the best but consider this people she was probably so nervous that what she was gonna wear was the last thing she was worried about. Everyone was expecting the old Britney Spears but she has had two kids she might never look the same and yes her hair was a total mess but at least she tried right?
So what does the VMA's really stand for there could be a multiple answers but they basically happen so that MTV can shove a bunch of celebrities in the same room and hand out little statues which means nothing. Now I'm not saying i don't like them or i don't watch them because i love them and watch every single one but there really is no point in having them unless its gonna make the artist's music any better all it does is just introduce new one hit wonders and gets ratings.
These days its just a well known fact that people love to gossip about celebrities because everyone likes to know about someone Else's life and when the screw up people feed off of that. people in today's society are just mean most of the time it doesn't have to be a celebrity you can hear stuff being said all the time at different people is it right NO! but it still happens and unless people change the world will just get worse .

Dixie Chicks Vs.America

Media personalities don't have the right to say these things but they do and it is out of any ones control because it's an opinion. When they called the Dixie chicks "Dumbest Bimbos"or even saying "foolish women who deserve to be slapped around" it was just a comment it was a huge slap in the face to them. The only reason P!nk isn't getting any negative attention is because she is popular and her fan base is standing behind her. Kanye West had a point in what he said and people agreed with him. All that he is guilty of doing is speaking for the people who can't voice their opinion on national television. I think the real reason the Dixie chicks got so much criticism is because they said those things in Europe which gives America and Americans a bad image. In pInk's song Dear Mr.President she never says that she personally thinks he sucks or is ashamed of him and neither did Kanye that's why is was kinda ignored. As mean as it sounds no one really takes country music seriously its just kinda there and people put up with it so when an artist of the genre starts to speak out people get annoyed and i can see why most are not as intelligent as others and just don't know what there saying and make them selves look like a fool. the Dixie chicks just wouldn't let the issue go either with the song"not ready to make nice" ARE YOU KIDDING ME! someone has just got to tell them their career is over and get them off the radio. But like i said before they didn't have to be mean to them they could have simply said what they did in nicer terms.
